Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)

Key to any search engine optimisation strategy is your inbound link building campaign. There is as much you can do wrong here as right. It's easy for this to count against you as it is to work in your favour. Essentially it should be natural. Do not use reciprocal links, link farms or 3 way links.

Build your links organically and with careful use of the anchor text you can build real authority into your site which will rank your site very well in Google's eyes.

We consider on page factors as well as off page factors. The internal linking structures are important as is the careful use of Title text, for example.

We don't employ any black hat activities, activities that Google would consider an illegal short cut to search engine rankings. Employing these tactics risks your business, so whilst results can be quick in the short term, long term your website may well get black listed or banned.

Google's focus is very much is on relevant content. We focus on Google first as they have the largest share of the search market and are defining the search industry that others are following. Keeping your site relevant without trying too hard is a safe principle. We've noticed, for example, generic domain names ranking much more easily than those that contain targeted keywords. H1 header tags with keywords also seem to be less relevant in Search Engine Results than previously. Keeping it natural is a good place to start.
